Witty Wordsmiths 103

“You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”

Dr. Seuss

I understand and grasp the sentiment behind this quotation; however, for me, I believe it is the exact opposite: when I'm in love (or let's say, things are going quite well for me), I tend to rest easier, longer, and this slumber is usually more effective fighting off early afternoon sleepiness. By no means am I knocking one of the greatest writers of our time, because you have to admit his mind was extremely imaginative despite his child-like prose, and like I said, I understand what he meant, but sometimes poetry does not translate to real life.
